Limitless

On the last episode, Brian tried to adjust to balancing his new work life with Rebecca while dodging Eddie’s goons, who keep weaving their way into his and his loved one’s lives. Rebecca has also figured out her father may have died on NZT. Brian digs for more info, and finds there’s more to his death than anyone thought- because he was on NZT. Brian, however, isn’t sure whether he wants to tell her.

Brian gets a video, but it’s all in his head: and it’s himself, giving himself advice not to tell Rebecca about her father in order to protect her- and to avoid jailtime for sounding even more crazy. Brian seems to agree with his other half and heads into work, where he starts wondering if he should, in fact, tell Rebecca. Rebecca has a new mission for all of them: a drug bust in the Upper East Side They leave to the place and Brian gets to work trying to find all the little cells within it. Rebecca and the SWAT team go to bust things when Brian gets an address, and Brian watches… that is, until he has to pee and hurries into the building to take care of it, when he hears the SWAT team breaching the place. He runs into a kid who’s trying to escape, and Brian tries to talk him down. The SWAT team arrives before things get ugly.

The group returns to HQ to debrief on everything. All of the people involved in the drug ring Rebecca points out that through evidence, she’s figured out that the druglords are possibly about to dab in terrorism, too. She also points out their suspect from before wants to talk to Brian and only Brian. It turns out that the suspect, Chris, is the ringleader, Sam’s little brother. Chris asks that if he helps them, the FBI helps Sam in return. Chris gives a rundown on his family life, parents dying tragically and all. Brian uses the info to get a psychological profile on Sam going. Rebecca checks in. He asks if she checked out her father’s old art in the nearby gallery. She says she’s realized her father wasn’t a one-time NZT user, but a full on user, figuring he couldn’t have done all of the paintings entirely on his own.
