Kim Zolciak-Biermann, suffered from a mini-stroke after flying from Los Angeles to Atlanta following an appearance on Dancing With the Stars.
The mother of six suffered a TIA, which is a small mini-stroke, leaving her with numbness and unable to speak for a brief period of time, and landing her in an Atlanta hospital.
According to Dr. Dolly Roy, who appeared on Good Morning America, to discuss what could have caused the stroke, “Flying and running around with a hectic lifestyle made her (Zolciak) more susceptible, most likely, to a stroke, but it didn’t cause a stroke.”
TIA’s happen when a blood clot blocks blood flow in the brain. Unlike an actual stroke the blockage goes away quickly.

Zolciak-Biermann is famous for wearing a corset on her hit reality series The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Wearing a corset may make breathing harder and might put strain on your heart, said Dr. Roy.
No word whether Kim Zolciak-Biermann will perform on Monday night’s episode of Dancing With the Stars. Kim’s dancing improved during her second week on the dancing reality series. The first week Kim’s dancing was less than stellar, with her landing on the bottom of the leaderboard. For the second week of Dancing With the Stars, Kim did an amazing job and if there was an award for most improved, she would have definitely received it.
What do you think about the fact that wearing a corset can cause a TIA? How scary is that? A combination of the hectic lifestyle, flying back and forth from Los Angeles to Atlanta and the corset could be the cause of the TIA. It is hard to determine for sure what the cause of the stroke was but Zolciak-Biermann may need to slow down. Will this leave her out for the rest of the season?
